The Board of Directors governs our agency using a set of written policies. Policy development is based on state statutes, case law, Oregon Department of Education regulations, negotiated employee contracts and our advancement as an equity-driven, antiracist organization. The formal adoption and revision of policies is accomplished by Board vote and recorded in meeting minutes. Administrative regulations, authorized by the Superintendent, help implement approved policies.
