No Board member shall receive any compensation for services as a member of the Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) Board other than reimbursement for reasonable expenses actually incurred on NWRESD business. Such expenses may include the cost of attendance at meetings, conferences or visitations when such attendance has been approved by the Board.

Reimbursement includes, but is not limited to, transportation, meals, lodging and miscellaneous expenses.

When paid admission is required of the public, Board members may be reimbursed for attending ESD events and other activities when their attendance is consistent with board responsibilities and ESD operations. The ESD will establish accounting procedures consistent with this policy.
