STEM Hub Launches Place-Based Collaborative to Enhance Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math Education Among Rural Educators
A place-based collaborative seeks to build community within a specific geographic location. The group includes 23 educators from 23 Clatskanie, Jewell, Rainier, Scappoose, Seaside, Tillamook and Warrenton-Hammond school districts.

Partnership With Portland Community College Gets Latest STEAM Technologies Into Classrooms
In early March, 31 elementary and middle school teachers from around the region gathered at the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center in Scappoose to attend a hands-on workshop all about the current technologies available to them.

Nominate a Support Professional of the Year
Education support professionals work together with teachers and administrators in Oregon’s schools to keep schools organized, safe, clean, secure and operational. They ensure students are fed, transported to and from school, cared for and connected. Nominations are due Feb. 21.
