Northwest Regional Education Service District operates four specialized school programs for K-12 students dealing with significant emotional and behavioral learning needs.

Student placements in these programs are recommended by local school districts or county mental health programs. All of the students served are eligible for special education services and have active individualized education plans (IEPs).

Each program provides a rigorous academic program supported by a continuum of behavioral and mental health interventions including Positive Behavior Interventions, Collaborative Problem Solving and Trauma Informed Care approaches. Many of the teachers in our programs are co-endorsed in special education, and eligible students with disabilities receive specially designed instruction, individualized behavior supports, and specialized related services. The goal of our programs is to help students transition back to their home districts or graduate from high school.
