District Grant Writing Support
A Continuum of Support
We are committed to connecting component districts with instructionally focused grant application support. Instructionally focused grants relate to supporting instructional programming for students. Examples of these types of grants include:
- career and technical education (CTE)
- social emotional and/or mental health
- culture and climate
- reading
- math
- science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)
- arts
- instructional coaching
- personalized learning
- extending the school day or year
- multitiered system of supports (MTSS)
- professional learning

First Steps:
- Identify the Need
- Your grant process may start with the identification of a need for your district and a desire to find a match, or perhaps and opportunity you would like to pursue.
- Identify Partners
- Consider who in your district or your community should have a seat at the table.
- Establish Project Leaders
- Decide who will champion this grant for your team.
- Obtain Internal Approval
- Ensure have been given authority to apply for this grant by whatever process is relevant to your district or department.
