Levi Anderson Learning Center provides educational services for adjudicated youth placed at St. Mary’s Home for Boys and for students placed in the program by local school districts. Using cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed and research-based therapies, staff at Levi Anderson typically serve more than 100 boys in grades 5–12.
In addition to the residential students, we have about 30 placement slots for students who are struggling in the mainstream school setting and who need to focus on treatment, behavioral skills and school attendance.
Students at Levi Anderson often begin to advance for the first time in their educational careers because they are receiving the help they need for their behavior challenges.
These residential students stay for an average of 18 months and the day treatment students stay for an average of 2-3 years before transitioning back to their home schools.
Students are referred to Levi Anderson Learning Center by the juvenile court system and home school districts.
