Northwest Regional requires all meetings and evaluations to be accessible and offered in the clients' native language.
Making a request:
Requests for interpretation services or translations can be made through Fresh Service. Visit freshservice to fill out the form and submit a ticket.
Please Note:
- Document to be translated (if submitting a translation request): Accepted formats are Google docs, Word docs, rich text format (RTF); images will not be translated
- Any other relevant documents: Preparation materials for IEP meetings, previous translations for reference so we can use consistent language, etc.
- If you plan to share sensitive materials with student information (e.g. student ID number, date of birth, etc), please specify in your initial ticket request without sharing those documents. We will provide instructions with how to share this information confidentially.
Pricing:
- Virtual interpretation: $56.00/hour (1 hour minimum charge)
- In-person interpretation: $65.00/hour (1 hour minimum charge)
- Translation (written): $0.17 per word
Additional charges for preparation time could apply. We will communicate those potential costs ahead of time.
