The Board believes it is necessary to continually develop and modify all district curricula to meet changing needs in technology and fields of knowledge and to assure the full, rounded and continuing development of students. While keeping with the requirements of state law, the Board authorizes the superintendent to review the curricula periodically and to advise the Board on needed changes. 

The Board retains its full rights and responsibilities under the laws and regulations of the state of Oregon with regard to adopting curriculum. The superintendent shall have general authority over all program development. 

All curriculum shall be developed in accordance with stated Northwest Regional Education Service District goals and stated program goals. The district will coordinate curriculum development with component school districts where appropriate.
