The Board may maintain memberships in the national and state school boards associations and may take an active part in the activities of these groups.

It may also maintain institutional members in other educational organizational that the Board finds to be of benefit to members and districts personnel.

The materials and benefits of institutional membership will be distributed and used to the best advantage of the Board and the staff.

Board members are encouraged and authorized to attend and participate in state, regional and national convention programs and activities, subject to financial limitations established by policy and budgeted funds.
