Consistent with Teacher Standards and Practices Commission requirements, Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) personnel are appropriately and adequately prepared to implement special education and related services and have the content knowledge and skills to serve children with disabilities. 

The NWRESD takes measurable steps to recruit, hire, train and retrain highly qualified personnel to provide special education and related services to children with disabilities. 

The NWRESD’s plan for providing personnel development programs in the NWRESD is found in Board policy GCL/GDL - Staff Development.
