In accordance with law, the Board’s annual organizational meeting will be held at any time during the month of July deemed appropriate by the Board.

The organizational meeting will consist of, but not be limited to, the following actions:

1. Election of a Board chair;

2. Election of a vice chair;

3. Provision of a time and place for regular meetings;

4. Other organizational actions prescribed by law or by Board practice.

The incumbent Board chair will preside until a successor is elected. The Board will elect a Board chair and a vice chair at their July meeting. In the event no incumbent Board chair or vice chair remains on the Board, or neither is able to continue to serve as an officer, the Board will select a temporary Board chair to conduct the election. No member may serve as Board chair for more than two consecutive years.
