The Board recognizes its responsibility for the improvement and growth of Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) instructional services. To this end, instructional programs shall be developed, evaluated and revised as necessary. 

As educational leader of the NWRESD, the superintendent shall be responsible to the Board for the implementation of an instructional services planning process which ensures the participation of appropriate representatives of component school districts and staff members. Activities will include identifying appropriate instructional programs, determining priorities for addressing needs and assisting, as needed, the State Board of Education in providing state level services to component school districts. 

The Board reserves the right to review program curriculum and to direct such modification as may be deemed appropriate.
