No Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) staff member may permit any individual student to leave school or other NWRESD program activities prior to the regular time of dismissal except by permission of the superintendent or designee. 

A student will not be released to any person without the written approval of his/her parents or as provided for in Oregon Revised Statutes or Board policy. 

Parents wishing to pick up their student at school for any reason shall apply at the facility office and receive a permit record before removing the student from the school premises. In cases where the student is in class or is of elementary school age, the permit shall authorize the teacher to release the student. In all other circumstances, the student will be released to the parent.
