A member shall, before assuming the duties of the office, qualify by taking an oath of office. The oath of office for a Board member will be in the following form: 

I,__________________________, do solemnly swear to support the laws of the United States and of the state of Oregon and the policies of the Northwest Regional Education Service District, and faithfully discharge any duties which shall become my responsibility as a member of the Board.
