The superintendent will develop procedures whereby those students who are considered truant may be subject to appropriate discipline¹, which may include, but is not limited to: detention, Saturday school, suspension and/or ineligibility to participate in Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) -sponsored activities. 

These procedures will be published annually for students, staff and parents in or as attachments to handbooks, guidebooks or other provided information.
