Notice of Budget Committee Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to ORS 294.401, that a public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Northwest Regional Education Service District, Washington County, Oregon, will be held virtually on the 18th day of May, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.
This is a public meeting where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, NWRESD facilities are currently closed to the public and meetings are being held virtually.
Public comment will be taken in written and virtual formats. Written comments received by 5 p.m. on May 14, 2021, will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on May 18, 2021.
Public comments will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member. For more information on public comment, please provide your name, phone number and address to the Board Secretary via phone message at 503-614-1401 or email to lslyh@nwresd.org.

How to Submit a Public Comment
Submit an audio file through our voice mail system at 503-614-1401 or a written email message to the NWRESD Board via Lauren Slyh O’Driscoll, Board Secretary. Public comment requests will be accepted on Board Meeting days until one (1) hour prior to the start of the Board meeting. The public comments will be shared with the Board during the public comments portion of the meeting. Public comments or statements are limited to three (3) minutes and should be brief and concise. Speakers may offer objective criticism of district operations or programs, but the Board will not hear complaints concerning specific district personnel.
