2 hour virtual training on Sensory Supports and the use of them in the preschool classroom. Participants will explore strategies to support young children on the Autism Spectrum with sensory challenges in early childhood environments by:
- Examining how environmental stimulus impacts a child’s learning and behavior.
- Applying sensory assessment techniques and environment modifications to help identify effective interventions to match where the children's needs are.
- Strategizing approaches for assessing, developing, and implementing sensory approaches in the classroom.
English and Spanish options are available. Please be sure to select the correct language you would like to attend on the registration form. The Zoom link will be emailed the day of the training for the language that you selected. ORO credits are available.
