ASD 101

This training is for Early Child Care Providers in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington Counties.

  • Date: 09/28/2022 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM  

Participants will learn:

  • What is Autism?
  • What are common characteristics associated with Autism?
  • How Autistic students learn best and what are some barriers that impede autistic students from learning.

Participants will also learn specific strategies that can be implemented to promote learning and engagement in early childhood environments. Participants will be provided with downloadable visuals
and tools that they can utilize in their own practice when working with autistic students.

This training is virtual. English and Spanish options are available. Please be sure to select the correct language you would like to attend on the registration form. The Zoom link will be emailed the day of the training for the language that you selected. ORO credits are available.
