The Medicaid administrative claiming (MAC) program reimburses districts for time spent on administrative activities associated with coordination, referral, outreach and program planning of Medicaid-covered health services. Reimbursement from MAC allows schools to provide health and social services.

Each fall, winter and spring district and ESD staff are selected to participate in a MAC survey.  If you have been selected, please complete the training and the survey on your assigned day.

  • "The Seaside School District uses funds received from participation in the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) program to support the salaries and supplies of our health services team. Since 2022, the increase in MAC funds has allowed us to add a full-time elementary school health assistant to support the growing number of students with individual health plans and daily aide the staff with multiple health-related services.”
