Pricing and Payment Process

Please note that prices are increasing as of July 1, 2024. The prices listed below reflect the increased price effective July 1, 2024.

Out-of-Pocket Options

ORVED can invoice families from PayPal. The invoice is sent to the email used for course registration. Once payment is received, ORVED staff will enroll students into course(s).

School Districts

• Districts will collect state funding (ADM) for the student and will pay the course fee. ORVED does not collect state funds for students. 
• Participating districts will be billed. The authorizing party in each district will be given access to systems and will request courses for students.
• Qualifying districts will receive courses at a reduced cost through Oregon Departments of Education's Small and Rural School Grant.
• Once students have been enrolled in the course for two weeks, the district is responsible for the course fee. 

Pricing

Original credits

• (.5) with an ORVED teacher provided (18 weeks) - $415 per course per student
• (.5) through ODE's Small and Rural Grant (18 weeks) - $120 per course per student
• Extensions (up to 4 weeks) - $20 a week per course per student (no refunds available)

Credit recovery

• (.5) with ORVED teacher provided (9 weeks) - $270 per course per student (no extensions available)

Hosted courses

• Hosted core courses led by district teachers (up to 6 courses) - $240 per student 
• Hosted elective courses led by district teachers - $140 per course per student

Implementation and training

(Required for all associated district personnel) 

• 1-5 teachers: $500
• 6-20 teachers: $1,000
• 21-50 teachers: $2,000
• More than 50 teachers: Email for a quote

Refund Policy

Students are given two weeks upon enrollment to decide if they want to remain in the course. After two weeks, refunds will not be issued.
