ORVED Courses

ORVED offers courses through two learning management systems: BUZZ and Canvas. Our curriculum is provided through FlexPoint and aligns with Oregon standards.

All courses are Common Core State Standard-aligned and meet the requirements for the Oregon diploma. Classes can be used by licensed teachers in districts or can include a teacher endorsed and licensed in Oregon. Each course is structured to be completed within 18 weeks, and students can work at their own pace with eligible course extensions if needed.

Credit Recovery Options

ORVED's full suite of courses includes high-quality credit recovery options. Credit recovery courses are self-paced, can start at anytime, and allow nine weeks for completion.

There are no extensions available for credit recovery. Students can show proficiency with test-out options.
