Washington County Leader Joins Northwest Regional ESD’s Board
Dorian Russell, the executive director of a local youth services agency, was recently appointed to serve on Northwest Regional Education Service District’s board of directors. Dorian was sworn into the Zone 3 position, which represents the Hillsboro School District, on June 11.

URGENT - Students Will Be Released Early Today (Thursday, Sept. 5) Due to Power Outage
Our schools and the surrounding area are experiencing a power outage. We are working with PGE to restore power but we do not have a clear time estimate. We will need to cancel classes for the remainder of the day due to safety concerns. We have transportation en route to pick up students.

Pacific Academy Celebrates Graduates in Personalized Ceremony 🎓
Following a tradition that dates back at least a decade, the families of this year’s Pacific Academy graduates began arriving for the annual graduation breakfast around 7 a.m. Educators served up dishes of pastries, fruits, bacon and eggs. The grads donned black graduation gowns and navy caps.
