We are excited to announce our Diverse Educator Pathways program has been awarded the full amount of $350,000 from the Educator Advancement Council’s Grow Your Own Fund.

This grant will further the recruitment of racially and linguistically diverse candidates into teacher preparation programs within our region. It will also expand to help develop a diverse educator preparation program for students in Banks, Gaston, Neah-Kah-Nie, Nestucca Valley and Tillamook school districts. Educators from rural Washington County and Tillamook County districts as well as Tillamook Bay Community College will be involved in the development of this new project.
