Program description:

It’s a Beautiful Day Preschool & Childcare  is a Registered Family Child Care provider licensed to serve children age two months to 12 years in Columbia County. Our program brings more than 12 years of child care experience serving children with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and special needs. Our program practices are person-centered and are guided by current knowledge and research in early childhood education, child development and related disciplines. Our program fosters an inclusive environment that supports activities to meet each child’s play and learning needs. I advocate and ensure that all children have access to the support and services needed to be successful. In my program, children learn through play and exploration guided by preschool curriculum resources and the Progressive Phonics curriculum. My program recognizes and values each child’s culture, language, ethnicity and family structure.

Hours: 

• Child care hours, Monday-Thursday 6 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 
• Preschool hours, Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
