Our Northwest Regional Education Service District Early Literacy Supports Team presents a learning opportunity for instructional assistants from Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, or Washington counties on the Science of Reading. This is a day-long professional development workshop which will focus on Pre-K through grade 5 reading interventions taught by instructional assistants. The learning goals include building a strong background knowledge of current reading research and best practices to use while instructing students in reading and writing. 

The intended audience for this training includes all paraprofessionals and instructional assistants who are a part of literacy teams including Title I reading intervention teams in Pre-K through 5th grade settings.
