This event is only for school staff working in Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook and Washington counties.
Professional development for Transition Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is designed to support the writing of meaningful and student-centered IEPs that are compliant and meet the requirements of General Supervision (Priority 5: Secondary Transition). Participants will have the opportunity to examine the required IEP components while seeing the throughline to the student's post-secondary goals. Participants are asked to bring a paper copy of an entire IEP that includes the transition services page (students aged 16 or older) to support their learning edge. There will be time to answer questions and share resources.
