This workshop will dive into greater detail on the 7 domains of the ASD criteria under the categories of Social Communication and Social Interaction and Restrictive, Repetitive Patterns of Behavior, Interests or Activities. The main focus will be on the more nuanced presentations of the characteristics of ASD, but will also cover early developmental observables and how to transfer some of the concepts behind ASD rating tools to help us to conceptualize the observations that we make when we are looking for criteria across the domains.
