We are excited to announce an upcoming virtual training with Lorinda Kirkland, School Psychologist and Ashleigh Riley, School Psychologist Intern, in collaboration with Northwest Regional Education Service District. The training is pulling exact
content from NCPMI (National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations).
Positive Solutions for Families provides an evidence-based curriculum to promote positive and effective parenting behaviors, which will, in turn, promote children’s social and emotional development and address challenging behavior. Learn the importance of building connections with your child, using positive encouragement and playful interactions to strengthen the caregiver-child relationship, understand the meaning of challenging behavior, and how to use positively stated directions. This session provides parents with general information on key strategies that may be used with children of all ages but is specifically designed for children ages 2-5 years.
This free training will be provided in English and Spanish.
