The theme of this year’s licensed appreciation week is Teaching is a Work of Heart. At the April meeting, our Board of Directors passed a resolution recognizing May 8-12 as Licensed Appreciation Week. Read the full resolution. 

The National PTA wrote the following in anticipation of this week: “The pandemic has ushered in a new way of teaching and learning. From in-person to virtual to a hybrid learning environment, our students have faced challenging, yet innovative times in their learning and development — and teachers have been at the heart of it all.”
