ASD 101

This training is for Early Child Care Providers in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook and Washington Counties.

  • Date: 01/10/2023 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM  

Participants will learn:

  • What is Autism?
  • What are common characteristics associated with Autism?
  • How do Autistic students learn best? 
  • What are barriers that impede autistic students from learning?

Participants will also learn specific strategies that can be implemented to promote learning and engagement in early childhood environments. Participants will be provided with downloadable visuals and tools that they can utilize in their own practice when working with autistic students.
