This training is only open to child care providers who are based in Clatsop, Columbia or Tillamook counties. 

In this two-part, free training series, participants will explore strategies to support the emotional and behavioral development of young children in order to create safer early childhood environments. Examine how implicit bias impacts responses to children’s behavior. Apply the pyramid model to identify effective interventions to match where a child's behavior is on the escalation cycle. Strategize approaches for positive de-escalation and relationship-building with children.

Oregon Registry Online credit is available. Spanish interpretation will be provided.
