Become a student leader recruiter.

Student recruiting is about getting more of your peers at your school signed up to be student leaders at outdoor school.

Handing out registration cards, telling people about why outdoor school is so fun and rewarding, and encouraging them to sign up and attend an in-town student leader training is all that it takes to be a student recruiter.

No minimum time commitment is required!

We require no minimum effort on your part. If you wish to recruit just your friends, that's fine. If you want to go all-out and recruit as many people as possible, that's fine, too!

Earn Prizes

Student leaders who successfully recruit their peers earn exclusive Northwest Outdoor Science School merchandise such as insulated mugs and windbreakers. These prizes are only available to recruiters who get more people to volunteer with us for one week - simply registering is not enough.

The prizes are tiered, so more people you recruit, the better the prize. In the student leader registration form, there is a place for people to name who recruited them. We cross reference that information list with our tracking sheet of who actually volunteered to determine who earned what.

If you want to ensure that you receive the prize you earned and aren't positive the people you recruited listed you on their registration form, you can email us a list of names (first and last) or the people you recruited. It's helpful if you also include the school they attend - it makes it easier for us to verify your list.
