This training is for Directors, teachers, assistants, and providers who work in preschools, Head Start, child care centers, or family child cares.

Participants will learn: What is Autism? What are common characteristics associated with Autism? How Autistic students learn best and what are some barriers that impede autistic students from learning. Participants will also learn specific strategies that can be implemented to promote learning and engagement in early childhood environments. Participants will be provided downloadable visuals and tools that they can utilize in their own practice when working with autistic students.
