Public Notices, News & Information

The Northwest Regional Education Service District Board met last night in a special board meeting and passed a resolution to suspend the superintendent search, and instead seek an interim superintendent to begin on July 1, 2015, following the retirement of Superintendent James Sager on June 30. The interim will work with the Board, staff, and district superintendents to assess the ESD’s strengths and challenges, and make recommendations that will inform the search for the permanent superintendent. The Board directed the Superintendent Search committee to recommend an external candidate for the Board's consideration no later than the Board's regular April meeting. The Board's intent is to have an interim selected by the end of April.
